Sophomore year has come and gone and it's time for that sweet smell of summer that all of us have ached for, for so long. Finals are over, grades are in, and whether you liked those new letters on your transcript or not... you have the windows down and the music blaring.

But for me, I'm taking a different journey this season. I'm actually venturing to the land down under, the great continent of Australia to study at the University of Tasmania. I will be abroad for 5 months, starting July 1st, but I will be back for Thanksgiving.. and then totally bored until the spring semester finally starts up at the end of January.

I want to make great use of the time I have here in the states. Spend it with the people I'll miss the most, tell them how much they mean to me and hope they don't move on without me when we go our separate ways come time for us to say our byes. I know, I know, I'm not going away forever, but this time I'm leaving first. I'm the first to say, see you later. But look at me, just rambling on about something that doesn't matter, that won't make any difference at all. Maybe. Probably not.

Less than four weeks baby! I am so excited, but at the same time can't believe all the summer stuff I'm going to miss. But then I get yelled at because I'm going away. Who knows what will happen. So, let's do something fun!

But come that last day in June, well..
